Any help would be appreciated. I had originally installed Vista 64 on my computer back in but found it imcompatible with most of my software and reluctantly bought the XP OS. Some older Scanjets have limited, basic feature software support only. Please try again shortly. I don't even use any free Software except from Hardware manufacturers. Among the problems was that it sometimes insisted that a Windows folder had no image files, although I could usually fix that by switching to another folder and then coming back to the first one.
In reply to P. Please give me a solution rather than asking me to Purchase a 3rd party software which you can not guarantee. Am sorry none of the above you suggested have worked including compatibility mode installation. I had almost come to the conclusion that this scanner was not supported by Vista or 7 but I read that others are in fact using the scanner with these OS.

twakn Its optical resolution of 4, pixels per inch ppi was almost unheard of in a flatbed scanner only two years ago and is still an unusually high resolution for the price. Solution and Diagnostic Data Collection. My OS later developed a trojan after reluctantly downloading a few of those drive utility scans. Use the following information to find out the level of support offered for your product and where to obtain it. I suggest you to uninstall the HP Scanjet G Photo Scanner from the Device Manager and then try to reinstall the scanner driver in compatibility mode.

Select all Deselect all. Posted on Apr 29, Be the first to answer. Using Third Party Software is at your own risk. In my testing, times for prescanning ranged from 14 seconds when the scanner had just been twakn, to 1 minute 27 seconds when it had been sitting idle.
In reply to Nyima Yonten's post on June 14, HP Download and Install Assistant makes it easy to download and install your software. This issue might occur if scanner driver is corrupt or there is change in scanner settings.
